To add a property, simply login to GSC. On the top just above the left menu


3, how to add a sitemap

To add sitemap on GSC. Click "sitemap" on the left menu.

Now you can add your sitemap on the URL space provided below the "add a new sitemap"

After adding your sitemap click submit and wait for Google to index the pages it found on your sitemap any time soon.

4, How to request indexing

In order to request indexing, use the left menu and click "URL inspection" copy and paste the URL of the page you want to request indexing.

When the results is "URL is on Google" then your page has been indexed and therefore can appear on SERP. But when it is "URL is not on Google" then you may request indexing by clicking "request indexing" on the page.

Now when your site is indexed either through sitemap or index request. You wcan check how is it performing on the SERPs by clicking "performance" on the left menu.

The performance page will appear with the following information on this screenshot.

Click "URL" and paste the URL of the page you want to check it's performance.

It's performance report will appear showing results on clicks, CTR, average position, impressions, etc.

You can filter your results by either search query, pages, devices, country, search appearance, etc.

First of all add the website that you want to monitor in your search console account.
Go to Google search console and at the top you will find add a property (website).
Add the URL of the website.

Use the left menu and click "sitemap"

A new page will appear where you will need to add your sitemap.
Copy and past your sitemap there and save it.
Google will now see your sitemap and crawl all the pages it found and index them.
